ARLINGTON, Texas — Officers pulled a suspect from a fiery crash after a police chase in Arlington.
Arlington police said around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were responding to a call about a suspect who had two active domestic-related felony warrants near his victim's home. According to APD, when officers found the suspect and tried to stop him, he fled in his vehicle.
While officers were pursuing the suspect, his car was hit by a pickup truck at the intersection of Carter Drive and E. Arkansas Lane, according to Arlington PD. Police said the suspect lost control of his vehicle, which immediately caught fire. APD said a third vehicle then struck the rear passenger side of the pickup truck involved in the crash.
Video from the scene shows officers pull the suspect from his car, which quickly became engulfed in flames.
Arlington police said no serious injuries were reported, and all three people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital as a safety precaution.
