ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington Police Department is investigating a shooting that killed one person and injured another Monday night, police said.

Arlington police responded to a shooting around 7:24 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Claire Court in Arlington. Officers found 18-year-old Jesus Galarza of Fort Worth and a 20-year-old man, with gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to area hospitals, police said in a press release.

Galarza was pronounced dead on Wednesday.

Investigators believe Galarza and the 20-year-old arranged to meet with the suspected shooter seeking drugs. After they arrived, the suspect pulled out a gun and began shooting at the victim's vehicle, hitting both of them, police said.

On Thursday, Arlington police arrested 17-year-old Joshua Nunn on one count of Murder and one count of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, police said. His bond has been set for $600,000.
