CELINA, Texas — A 53-year-old man was arrested on Monday after he attacked and killed a woman inside her home, according to Celina police.
The Celina Police Department announced that they arrested 53-year-old Karl Andrew Stanley. Police said he broke into a woman's home off Seattle Slew Drive in the Mustang Lakes subdivision a little before 3:15 p.m.
Police said Stanley knew the woman and attacked her after breaking in. Responding officers arrested Stanley at the home and found the woman, who had suffered severe injuries from the attack, according to a statement from Celina PD.
Despite life-saving efforts, the woman died at the home, according to police. Celina PD said they are investigating the events that led up to the incident.
