FORT WORTH, Texas — One person was killed and another was hospitalized in a shooting in Fort Worth Tuesday, police say.
Police responded to the shooting in the 2400 block of Irion Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and a second was taken to an area hospital with "a possible life-threatening gunshot wound," officials say.
Police say a suspect was taken into custody without incident.
Fort Worth police didn't provide additional details about the people who were shot or the suspect. The shooting remains under investigation.
