FORT WORTH, Texas — Two people are in custody after an attempted robbery left one person hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
Just after 3 a.m. Sunday, Fort Worth police said officers were called to Medical City North Hills Hospital on Booth Calloway Road after a victim arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound.
Fort Worth PD said its preliminary investigation revealed that a shooting occurred at the Carol Oaks Apartments, located in the 7400 block of Ederville Road, during an attempted robbery.
After a short vehicle pursuit, officers arrested two suspects near West Freeway and University Drive, police said.
The victim is currently receiving treatment at the hospital and is expected to survive. It's unclear if the victim and suspects knew each other.
