A woman was killed and another was injured after being shot Thursday evening, Dallas police say.
Around 6:05 p.m., officers were called to the area of E. Clarendon Drive and S. Marsalis Avenue in response to a disturbance.
When police arrived, two women were found suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both transported from the scene to a local hospital.
One woman, who had multiple gunshot wounds was pronounced dead at the hospital and the other victim was treated for her injuries and then released, police say.
Authorities have not released any information concerning a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
