CORSICANA, Texas — UPDATE, April 25, 2019:
Ramon Santuario-Mendoza has been charged with four more counts of indecency with a child with sexual contact, bringing the total charges filed against him to six.
Each charge carries a bond of $75,000, bringing the total bond amount to $450,000.

A Corsicana ISD elementary school was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of indecency with a child with sexual contact, according to Navarro County jail records.
It is not clear if the alleged victim is a student at Corsicana ISD.
Ramon Santuario-Mendoza, 48, is a third grade English Language Arts teacher at Sam Houston Elementary. He was placed on administrative leave last week pending an investigation by Corsicana ISD Police, according to
a statement from Corsicana ISD.
"Corsicana ISD thoroughly investigates any concern from a student, staff member or parent and takes swift and appropriate action when student or staff safety may be involved," the statement said.
No bond has been set yet.
