DALLAS — Hank Keller, a Dallas entrepreneur who helped start the Rose All Day wine brand, Lights All Night New Year’s event, the Highland Concerts event management company, and more, died Dec. 2 at 37, while duck hunting in East Texas, according to his obituary in the Dallas Morning News.
Keller also reportedly partnered with Vandelay Hospitality Group and others to help open the first Hudson House restaurant location in University Park in 2017.
The Dallas native graduated from Highland Park High School and Louisiana State University.
“Hank lived big and loved big. His happiest times were spent duck hunting with his loyal and beloved dog Kirby, snowboarding in Park City, UT, enjoying live music of any kind, and spending time with family,” his obituary continued. “His spirit and contagious personality will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.”
"So many adventures over the years in NYC, LA, at Lights All Night, and at our homes and out and about and now you’re gone. It still doesn’t seem real," a friend wrote of Keller on social media. "Your memory will live on via photos, videos, and fun stories about The Tank - and through your son. There will be tears this week but hopefully memories of pure joy to follow."
A memorial service for Keller was hosted Dec. 8 at Ascension Chapel at the Church of the Incarnation in Dallas.
