CEDAR HILL, Texas — A fourth person has died from the February fire at a pastor's home in Cedar Hill, officials said.
Darryn Keahey, 17, was confirmed as the fourth victim of the fire, according to Cedar Hill police on Monday.
Pastor Eugene Keahey, his wife, Deanna Keahey, and his daughter, Camryn Keahey, were found dead the morning of the Feb. 28 fire at their home in the 700 block of Lovern Street.
Officials didn't confirm how Darryn Keahey was related to the other victims in the fire.
The early-morning fire led to a criminal investigation, after neighbors reported hearing the possible sounds of gunshots.
The fire remained under investigation this week, and no cause or manner of deaths have been determined for the victims.
Keahey was a beloved pastor at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Sandbranch, a small community about 15 miles south of downtown Dallas.
Sandbranch residents credited Keahey for helping push for a municipal water system to the neglected area.
"He had all the world of impact down here,” longtime Sandbranch resident Ivory Hall said. “Everybody loved him. He would walk these streets down here to see if you needed anything."
