A Southlake estate has hit the market for nearly $13 million as the most expensive home to list last month.
Built in 2007, 935 W. Dove Road boasts six bedrooms, six full bathrooms and three half-bathrooms across 20,708 square feet. The home spans two stories and sits on more than 7 acres, dressed in Texas oak trees and a private pond.
The estate topped the Houston Association of Realtor’s list of the 10 most expensive homes to hit the market in Texas in October, the Dallas Morning News reported. Five of the 10 were in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. HAR's website tracks listings across Texas.

"The previous owners raised their kids here and now they’re all grown up, so they’re moving on," Synergy Realty co-owner Troy George, who has the listing, told Dallas Business Journal.
Amenities include an indoor half-court sports room, a 10-car garage, a multitiered theater room, a gym, a chilled wine cellar with a cigar area and a bowling lane.
The outdoor pool area is comprised of a two-level pool with a slide and a separate spa and grotto cave feature with a swim-up bar, added by the previous owners at a valuation of about $1 million, George said.
There’s even a concreted jogging/walking track around the entire property.
The luxurious home is surrounded by other high-end properties in Southlake. The city, known as one of the wealthiest areas of the Metroplex and with a hot housing market to match, boasts mansions with unique amenity offerings, including one for sale on Sunshine Lane that was Texas' most expensive listing in August.
The home at 935 W. Dove Road is currently listed for $12,995,000, or about $628 per square foot, according to Zillow.
The property is close to the dining and retail hub Southlake Town Square and less than 10 miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
