North Texan claims $1M scratch ticket prize, lottery officials say

MESQUITE, Texas — Another North Texan has entered the millionaire club after claiming a top winning scratch ticket.

The Texas Lottery said the resident, from Mesquite, bought the Millionaire Maker scratch ticket from Mr. Joe’s Food Mart in the 2900 block of Motley Drive in Mesquite.

The resident, who requested to remain anonymous, was the third person out of 15 to claim the $1 million prize in this game.

The Texas Lottery says Millionaire Maker offers more than $200 million in total prizes. Overall, the odds of winning any prize in the game are 1 in 3.54, including break-even prizes.
