MCKINNEY, Texas — Dallas Cowboys legend Troy Aikman has partnered with a hospitality and live entertainment company that's bringing a $220 million amphitheater to Collin County.

According to a release by the company VENU, Aikman's Eight Elite Light Lager will be the official "powered by" partner for the four planned Outdoor Sunset Amphitheaters in Texas and Oklahoma. Aikman will also be the namesake for the premium seating section for the venues. The "Aikman Club" will offer high-end amenities for concertgoers.

"As a lifelong music fan, I couldn’t be more excited to partner with VENU to launch the Aikman Clubs.” said Troy Aikman. “This collaboration perfectly aligns with my passions for community, great music, and bringing people together. Having EIGHT as a sponsor makes it even more special; sharing our beer with fans in such an incredible setting is the perfect fit. I can’t wait to see the energy and connections these venues will create."

VENU owns several large-scale outdoor concert venues in Colorado, and more are planned for McKinney and El Paso in Texas and Oklahoma City and Broken Arrow in Oklahoma. Each venue will offer luxury firepit suites, premium food and beverage options, state-of-the-art audio-visual technology and the newly-founded Aikman Club.
