THE COLONY, Texas — Florida-based PopStroke, a bar and restaurant chain with putting courses designed by Tiger Woods, secures its second Texas location at the Grandscape in The Colony, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The filing details a $5.2 million renovation and alteration to a 13,000-square-foot space in the Grandscape development. Construction is set to begin in June with scheduled completion in December. An opening date was not disclosed.
According to the filing, PopStroke at the Grandscape will have 37 outdoor mini-golf holes, an outdoor playground area, and food and drink service.
PopStroke putting courses are designed by Florida-based TGR Design, led by pro-golfer Tiger Woods.
In 2022, PopStroke secured its first location outside of Florida in Katy, Texas. The approximately 20,000-square-foot venue space spans two stories with a full-service restaurant, four bars and an ice cream parlor. Additionally, two 18-hole putting courses take up 55,000 square feet outside.
PopStroke has Florida locations in Fort Myers, Sarasota, Port Saint Lucie, Orlando and Tampa and another location in Glendale, Arizona. Along with PopStroke at the Grandscape, new locations are headed to Scottsdale, Arizona and Delray, Florida.
The Grandscape development continues to grow with new food and entertainment spaces such as Los Angeles-based Cosm’s immersive technology sports and event venue, Portillo’s first North Texas location, surfing restaurant Fireside Surf and more.
