Celebrity-endorsed sweet shop and restaurant closes in Uptown Dallas

The dessert spot and restaurant opened in 2021 and closed August 5, according to a spokesperson.

DALLAS — Sugar Factory, an eatery and sweet shop known for over-the-top desserts and cocktails “Instagrammable” dining rooms, and celebrity endorsements, has closed its Dallas location in Uptown.

A spokesperson for Sugar Factory American Brasserie confirmed the store, located on the ground floor of the Miro Apartments at 1900 Cedar Springs Road, closed Aug. 5.

“We've closed our current Sugar Factory Dallas location and are moving to a new venue—details coming soon,” the statement continued.

The Dallas location opened in 2021. The shop was featured on Good Morning Texas on WFAA shortly after they opened.

Other Texas Sugar Factory locations include San Antonio and Houston, according to their website.

Sugar Factory, which originated in Las Vegas in 2009, has more than 20 locations worldwide, including in New York, Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta, and more, according to their website.
