IRVING, Texas — The Omni Las Colinas Hotel has a new name, a redesigned interior, three new dining concepts, a redesigned pool area and a lobby bar after a $13 million facelift.
The goal of the updates to what was formerly called the Omni Mandalay Hotel was to elevate the hotel as a destination within the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as well as for travelers from outside DFW, said Nydia Hoskins, general manager of Omni Las Colinas.
"With the updates that have been made, and a centrally located property within Dallas-Fort Worth, Omni Las Colinas is a great hotel for both leisure and business travelers who are ready and willing to travel," Hoskins said in an email to the Dallas Business Journal. "It’s the perfect destination for a staycation for local DFW residents as well. The updates modernize the property and allow for us to cater to a wider audience."
