EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Texas — Developer Centurion American is planning to build 1,100 single-family homes near Eagle Mountain Lake.
The 836-acre development, called the Estate at Eagle Mountain Lake, just outside Fort Worth city limits, is bound by Peden Road to the north, Bonds Ranch Road to the south, and Morris Dido Newark Road to the west.
The new homes, which will range from a half-acre to one-acre in size, will be within a few miles of Eagle Mountain High School, which is set for completion in August, according to the district’s website.
Centurion manages real estate across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including the 540-acre Resort on Eagle Mountain Lake in the area.
”Eagle Mountain Lake offers some of the most beautiful views in North Texas,” said Centurion American Development Group CEO Mehrdad Moayedi. “We’ve spent nearly two decades creating the finest master-planned community on the lake, and we know that North Fort Worth and the future residents of The Estates at Eagle Mountain will truly enjoy what this development will add to this region.”
David Davidson Jr. and Edward Bogel of Davidson Bogel Real Estate (DB2RE) brokered the transaction and say they’re still looking for stores for 36 acres of commercial land adjacent to the Estates at Eagle Mountain Lake Development.
“The future development will offer half-acre to one-acre homesites as Commissioner Manny Ramirez only supported the PID alongside a quality, low-density development,” Davidson said. “Commissioner Ramirez understood the importance of improving this portion of Bonds Ranch Road as it is the only east-west thoroughfare in North Fort Worth that offers the region a 25-mile direct connection between Boat Club Road and Highway 114 in Southlake. The PID created not only makes the development of the 800 acres of residential and 36 acres of commercial possible, but it supports more safety for commuters including the students, faculty and parents of Eagle Mountain High School, which sits directly south of the future development.”
