These are the fastest-growing private companies in North Texas, according to the Dallas 100

This year, the program highlighted 125 finalists but only 100 made the final rankings.

Plano-based health care staffing agency StaffDNA LLC took the No. 1 spot on this year's Dallas 100 Entrepreneur Awards, which recognizes fast-growing private companies in North Texas.

The Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business on Nov. 2 unveiled the 33rd iteration of the Dallas 100. This year, the program highlighted 125 finalists but only 100 made the final rankings.

StaffDNA has developed a platform that health care professionals and hospitals can use to connect for permanent, travel and as-needed staffing. CEO Sheldon Arora attributed the company's growth to its new approach to a critical need.

StaffDNA is the most downloaded health care career app in the nation, with roughly 1.3 million downloads, Arora said in an interview with Dallas Business Journal. To read more, go here.

And the company has big plans for continued expansion.

"We want to take that [StaffDNA model] into other industries outside of health care," Arora said. "And then we want to roll that out to other countries."

Advantis Medical Staffing, another health care staffing agency, snagged the No. 2 spot on the Dallas 100 and Aligned Data Centers rounded out the top three.

To qualify for the Dallas 100, companies must be headquartered in DFW and be independent, privately held corporations, proprietorships or partnerships as of May 1, 2022. The company must have at least three years of history with sales of $500,000 to $100 million in fiscal year 2020.

In 2022, Irving-based technology company ShiftKey grabbed the No. 1 spot, having seen revenue growth of more than 2,000% from 2019 to 2021. Click here to read about last year's winners.
