A $17.5 million condo has hit the market in Dallas, instantly becoming the most expensive high-rise residence for sale in the city.
The Gallery Penthouse at Hall Arts Residences in the Dallas Arts District is still under construction, but promises a one-of-a-kind home. The condo will boast four bedrooms, four bathrooms and two half-baths across 7,688 square feet -- or the entire 26th floor.
The Gallery will be one of four penthouses for sale at the condo tower. Two penthouses – dubbed Canvas – will share the 27th floor. One is currently under contract and the other will begin construction in early 2025. The top floor is reserved for what's being called the Sky Terrace penthouse, which is currently under construction and will complete in late 2025.
Hall Group, the developer behind Hall Arts Residences, did not disclose when the other penthouses will hit the market or their price tags.
The Gallery, however, is expected to complete its construction in January 2025, and is currently listed for $17.5 million, or $2,276 per square foot, according to Zillow.
The private condo has direct access to an elevator that opens to floor-to-ceiling windows and plaster columns throughout the living space. The open living room showcases 14-foot ceilings and panoramic views of the Dallas skyline. Other amenities within the high-rise include a wine cellar, a library, a private terrace connected to the primary bedroom and heated floors.
In addition to the features of the condo itself, the building offers luxury amenities such as a resort-style infinity-edge lap pool, putting green and heated spa. The property also offers an on-site concierge team and lifestyle director.
The tower also is home to Craig and Kathryn Hall’s art collection. Craig Hall is the founder and chairman of Hall Group.
“Initially, we left the upper floors as shell space, thinking buyers at that price point would prefer to customize their homes,” Hall said in a statement. “However, the pandemic shifted priorities and we’ve seen strong demand for completed residences.”
Built in 2020, Hall Arts Residences is a 28-story luxury residential high-rise located at 1747 Leonard Street. It neighbors the Art District’s first-ever hotel, Hall Arts Hotel, which was completed in 2019 as part of Hall Group’s ambitious Arts District development.
Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is behind the penthouse listing, with Kyle Richards and Cindi Caudle tied in as the listing agents.
Abeyta Tibbs Architecture and Allgood/Pfannenstiel General Contractors were tapped to lead the design and build-out of the penthouse.
