An estate in North Dallas has hit the market for nearly $10.5 million.
The estate at 6618 Belmead Drive, off Preston Road in North Dallas, sits within the small enclave of Ricks Circle – a spacious, closed-off neighborhood of homes with wide lots and grand entrances similar to the Preston Hollow neighborhood down the street.
While it's no Strait Lane, Ricks Circle is well-known for its stretch of significant architecture and design diversity. Situated between Preston Road and Hillcrest Road, Ricks Circle is exactly what it sounds like – a large circle with Belmead as the only cut-in street.
Listing agent Roxanne Diamond with Dave Perry Miller told Dallas Business Journal that Ricks Circle is “tucked away for quiet privacy, yet centrally located, with winding streets that have beautiful homes.”
The community has seen modern transformations of old homes like the famed curved structure at 6645 Northhaven Road designed by Lionel Morrison and Nimmo Architecture’s glass home dubbed ‘House on Ricks.’
But 6618 Belmead Drive clings on to its charm through its traditional design. Built in 2016 by Nolan Homes, the estate boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms and two half-baths across 9,844 square feet.
The home is listed for $10,495,000 and sits in one of Dallas' hottest luxury housing markets and wealthiest ZIP codes. 6618 Belmead is currently the most expensive home for sale on its block, more than doubling the sale price of the only two other homes listed.
The property's amenities include a study, a multi-tiered media room, and a playroom suite with a lighted stage attached to a game room. The amenity offerings bleed outdoors with an expansive backyard, a pool, sports court and four-car garage.
6618 Belmead is near North Dallas’ top dining and retail destinations including Preston Royal Village and the NorthPark Center. The home is also close to some of Dallas’ best education institutions such as St. Marks, which was a top DFW school for all grades in 2023 as well as being one of the most expensive private schools.
