More than 20 businesses have signed on to be part of Fehmi Karahan’s $2 billion Fields West development in Frisco.
The Karahan Cos. this week revealed the slate of new stores, which are expected to open between the fourth quarter of 2026 and the fourth quarter of 2027. Retail and restaurant leases represent about 50% of the 49.5 acres available for mixed-use development on the site at the intersection of Dallas North Tollway and Panther Creek Parkway.
While most of the retail and restaurant tenants are well-established in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, a new addition will be Maestros, a Houston-based steakhouse and seafood restaurant.
Other noteworthy additions include Alo Yoga, Kendra Scott, Texas Capital Bank, Williams Sonoma, Sixty Vines, Amorino and Nando's.
Overall, Karahan projects that the retail component will total $800 million in development.
The new businesses will join Bloomie's, a smaller format store from New York-based luxury retailer Bloomingdale's that was recently announced as an anchor for Fields West retail. Opening in late 2027, it will be the first location in Texas and the fifth in the U.S.
The retail amenities are just a piece of Karahan’s larger vision aimed at attracting a younger workforce. At full buildout, Fields West will bring thousands of apartments and homes, office space and two hotels to the more than 2,500-acre Fields development.
The wider Fields is expected to be valued at more than $10 billion at buildout. It's already home to the PGA of America headquarters and the Omni PGA Frisco Resort. Universal Studios is constructing a $550 million theme park with rides, shows, restaurants and a 300-room hotel on the property. Multimillion-dollar homes are also now under construction.
Construction on Fields West began earlier this summer. The development is expected to be larger than Karahan’s $3 billion Legacy West project at the intersection of DNT and State Highway 121.
Karahan is developing Fields West in partnership with Chief Partners, Crosstie Capital and Hunt Realty Investments.
