'We've been trying to find them ever since' | Can you help this North Texas couple find the Santa and Mrs. Claus that ‘crashed’ their wedding?

Three years ago, a mysterious Santa and Mrs. Claus added a dose of magic to a Christmas-themed wedding. Now, the married couple needs help tracking them down.

ENNIS, Texas — If you’ve visited the Mach Christmas Display in Ennis, you’ve likely seen the magic Patrick and Natasha Mach bring to life every holiday season.

The couple, who make the beloved and free light show come to life each winter, are incredibly passionate about Christmas. That shared love defined their relationship from the very beginning.

“Somebody hearted my Christmas photo on the dating app we met on and that’s what kind of got it started,” Patrick said with a laugh.

The pair celebrated their shared holiday spirit with a Christmas-themed wedding three years ago to the day. The festive ceremony featured snow, a decorated tree, a reindeer and even a Grinch.

“The one thing we were missing in our wedding was Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus,” Natasha said. “We’re the Christmas couple; why wouldn’t we have that?”

The day before their wedding, Natasha met an older couple at a Corsicana Bakery who appeared to also embody the Christmas spirit. The pair, dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus, were sharing a cookie when Natasha struck up a conversation.

“I told them how cute they were, that they were couple goals, and that I was getting married the next day at a Christmas [themed] wedding,” Natasha said.

The couple congratulated her and asked about the wedding plans. Natasha never thought to invite them, but somehow, they knew. The mysterious Santa and Mrs. Claus appeared just after the ceremony, posing for photos with the newlyweds before vanishing into the crowd.

“It was magical when they showed up,” Natasha said. “And we’ve been trying to find them ever since.”

For three years, Patrick and Natasha have searched for the couple who brought an extra dose of Christmas magic to their wedding day. Despite their efforts, they’ve had no luck. Now, the Machs are turning to the community for help.

Their Christmas wish? That someone who recognizes this Santa and Mrs. Claus will come forward.

“It’s been a mystery,” Natasha said. “We just want to give some of that magic back to them.”

If you have any information about the couple, the Machs encourage you to reach out. You can reach them via their Facebook page here. A Christmas reunion would be the ultimate holiday miracle.
