GRAPEVINE, Texas — Time to put an argument (and a sandwich) on the table: the best deli in Texas.
Which one comes to your mind? If you live or are visiting Dallas-Fort Worth, you'll have to check out one spot that was recently named as the "best deli in Texas" in a new report.
Eat This, Not That recently unveiled their list of the best delis in every state, and the Lone Star State representative on their list is located in the DFW suburb of Grapevine.
Texas' deli champ, according to their report, is Weinberger’s Deli.
“The menu is massive, but the Joe King Pastrami is considered the deli’s standout," the Eat This, Not That report said. "It’s made on toasted marble rye with hot pastrami, melted Swiss cheese, creamy coleslaw, red onion, and Russian dressing.”
Weinberger’s Deli is located at 601 S Main St.

The Dagwood: American cheese, lettuce, ham, Muenster cheese, turkey, red onions, Swiss cheese, roast beef, mayo and tomato salt and pepper on a toasted onion roll.
Oscar: Grilled mortadella, genoa salami, capicola, pepperoni, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, italian dressing, basil mayo, and giardiniera on a toasted jalapeno roll.
The Debris: New Orleans style Pot Roast , lettuce, pickle, tomato, Remoulade Sauce on a garlic toast French baguette.
Weinberger Rueben: Hot corned beef and pastrami, melted Swiss, sauerkraut, Russian dressing, grilled on marble rye.
Texan: Hot BBQ seasoned roast beef, melted cheddar, jalapeno cole slaw, Chipotle dressing on grilled black bread
