An eatery concept designed to challenge the traditional food hall will open Nov. 8 in Dallas' Victory Park.
Hospitality Alliance announced Oct. 31 plans to open Victory Social in a 12,000-square-foot space within One Victory Park, a 17-story office building developed by Hines.
Victory Social will feature six eateries overseen by James Beard-nominated chef Joshua Harmon. The food offerings will range from fast-casual to full-service with outdoor seating on a covered patio and private dining.
"We’re proud of building something that is part of the community and to bring this neighborhood a diverse dining destination," stated Kevin Lillis, CEO of Hospitality Alliance. "We adapted concepts we are best known for to bring DFW an evolution of the food hall, an unmatched eatery created for the consumer that expects and deserves a plethora of incredible dining options."
The following dining concepts will have their own spot within Victory Social, plus various cocktail and wine offerings.
- Rise & Thyme: An original concept from Hospitality Alliance, Rise & Thyme is reopening its all-day cafe after closing its original location in 2022 in Dallas' AT&T Discovery District. The cafe will offer coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and tacos, toasts and bagels and more.
- Birdie: An original concept from chef Harmon, Birdie will fuse Southern comfort food and Asian-inspired techniques to create a fried chicken restaurant.
- Park Bistro: The all-American bistro will cater to lunch time outings, offering salads, sandwiches and soups.
- Itza Cocina: Lined up to be playful spin on the contemporary taqueria, Itza Cocina will serve tacos, burritos and bowls using marinated meat, vegetables and fresh tortillas.
- Victory Grill: As a private dining concept, Victory Grill will offer an array of meat and seafood.
- D’oro Italiano: Meaning "golden" in Italian, the restaurant is named for its very own gold-tiled pizza oven. Its menu will offer Neapolitan-style pizzas and pasta.
Hospitality Alliance was previously in charge of the food program at the AT&T Discovery District but was replaced in August 2023, CultureMap reported.
With Victory Social, Harmon said his team took risks and pushed boundaries to design this spin on a food hall, and that "opening this eatery is a reflection of our commitment to reshaping the multi-concept dining experience."
Victory Social is not the only new dining concept coming to Victory Park, an area at the confluence of Uptown and downtown Dallas. In August, a new Italian concept tied to celebrity chef Carla Pellegrino revealed plans to open in a 6,100-square-foot space that formerly housed the WFAA television studio. The restaurant is expected to open in early 2025.
Victory Social will officially open its doors Nov. 8 at 2323 Victory Ave.
