FORT WORTH, Texas — Riscky's Barbeque, the 97-year-old Fort Worth restaurant, hosted its 18th annual Rib-Eating Competition at their Stockyards Station Saturday morning.

The competition challenged up to 30 barbeque enthusiasts to eat as many Riscky's beef ribs as possible in just 60 seconds. Then, three top qualifiers competed in a head-to-head matchup, and veteran Richard Cofsky came away the winner.

Cofsky ate five clean ribs in 60 seconds, while the runner-up, Albert Bravo, had five "mostly clean" ribs. The third-place finisher, who event officials did not name, ate four ribs in the 60 seconds.

According to Riscky's Barbeque, Cofsky, of Fort Worth, is a six-time champion of their annual competition.
