FORT WORTH, Texas — A Michelin-recognized restaurant group is opening their first restaurant outside of Dallas in Fort Worth.

Dallas-based Duro Hospitality, whose portfolio includes the newly Michelin-recognized Mister Charles and El Carlos Elegante, as well as The Charles, Sister, Café Duro and Casa Duro, is planning to open a European-inspired steakhouse in Fort Worth.

The Chumley House, described as a “European-inspired steakhouse with British flair,” will open Nov. 25 at 3230 Camp Bowie Blvd, Suite 150 in Fort Worth. The restaurant will mark the restaurant group’s first venture outside of Dallas.

“Fort Worth has always held a special place in our hearts,” said Benji Homsey, Duro Hospitality Partner. “Between myself being a TCU graduate and Chas’ many years of living in Fort Worth growing up, we’ve always felt a deep connection to this city.”

Duro Hospitality was founded in 2020 by partners, Benji Homsey, Chas Martin, Corbin See, and Ross See.

The 3,500-square-foot new restaurant, named for Chas’ dog, Chumley, will feature a menu of steakhouse staples like filet, New York Strip, and bone-in ribeye, as well as seafood and beef wellington.

“Our goal was to make guests feel as though they’ve stepped into a luxurious, old-world setting,” said See. “The Chumley House is a blend of English coziness with a touch of opulence, like entering an elegant yet intimate space full of history and character.”

Duro Hospitality made headlines earlier this month when Mister Charles and El Carlos Elegante were named Michelin Recommended restaurants in the inaugural Texas Michelin Guide last week.

The Charles was initially mistakenly honored at the ceremony, but Michelin subsequently corrected it to Mister Charles.
