DALLAS — Looking for a new pizza place to try?
A pizzeria in Grapevine is causing some buzz, as one magazine recently named it the most popular one in America for 2025.
According to PMQ Pizza Magazine, Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza is the most popular independent pizzeria in the U.S. This was determined by crowd-sourced reviews, averaging out ratings from platforms like Google, Yelp, Facebook and TripAdvisor.
It is the second year in a row the pizzeria has won after taking the top spot in the same poll last year.
"This prestigious honor highlights our commitment to delivering exceptional pizza experiences, as celebrated by our loyal customers and community," Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza Spokesperson Chris Brooke said in a statement. "This award reflects the dedication of our team, the passion behind our craft, and the support of our amazing patrons."
Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza has multiple locations across the country, including locations in Dallas, Flower Mound and Mansfield.
Along with traditional pies, the restaurant features some interesting flavors for pizza, including coffee, and also sells some star-shaped pizzas.
The Grapevine pizzeria was the only North Texas-based pizza place to rank in the top 25 list. The Gypsy Poet in the Houston area was the only other Texas spot on the list.
