The building now known as The Sinclair reopened in February 2024 after being converted from pure office space into apartments and offices.

DALLAS — Popular Fort Worth restaurant Pacific Table will reportedly open a Dallas location in The Sinclair, one of the most prominent examples of a tower conversion in Big D.

The new Pacific Table is expected to open in 2025, according to the Dallas Morning News. It will be in The Sinclair, a 46-floor high-rise that reopened earlier this year after more than a year of work to convert it from a pure office building into both apartments and offices. The $300 million conversion project at what was previously called Energy Plaza was led by Todd Interests.

Pacific Table owner Felipe Armenta and his hospitality company, Far Out Hospitality, run 19 restaurants, mainly in Tarrant County, including Press Cafe and Maria’s Mexican Kitchen.

The company’s flagship eatery, Pacific Table, has expanded from its 2013 Fort Worth launch to Las Colinas and is set to grow further in Texas. It just recently opened a location in Southlake on Aug. 14.

Armenta and his team will also operate a coffee shop in The Sinclair, but neither the name nor opening date were disclosed, the DMN reported.

The restaurant group has had fast success as six restaurants in its portfolio are currently under construction, including the new Pacific Table location in downtown Dallas.

Pacific Table is a "West Coast-themed" restaurant with a menu that includes steaks, sushi and oysters.
