Cowtown Marathon 2024: Race results, race map & road closures

The kids' and adults' 5K and 10K races were held Saturday, and the half, full and ultramarathon races were held Sunday.

FORT WORTH, Texas — More than 40,000 people were expected to participate in this year's Cowtown Marathon.

The annual Fort Worth road races were being held this weekend. The kids' and adults' 5K and 10K races were held Saturday, and the half, full and ultramarathon races were being held Sunday.

With temperatures unseasonably warm, race organizers issued a heat advisory and encouraged runners to stay hydrated throughout the weekend. Organizers allso set up hydration stations every mile and a half for runners.

The Cowtown Marathon claims to be the largest multievent road race in North Texas, has a $10.4 million annual economic impact in Fort Worth and hosts one of the largest youth races in the nation.
