FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Zoo is welcoming a new baby giraffe!
The male calf, Finnigan, was born on Aug. 18. The zoo says he was 5'9" and weighed 158 lbs. when he was born! The zoo says Finn is bonding well with his mom, Kala, and is fitting in with the rest of the herd.
Finnigan is the second baby boy giraffe born in DFW this past month! Another unnamed male giraffe was born on Aug. 22 at the Dallas Zoo.
Little Finn is on display at the Fort Worth Zoo now, according to zoo officials.
