DALLAS — A new baby giraffe will soon be greeting visitors at the Dallas Zoo.
Dallas Zoo officials say a new male giraffe was born earlier this month.
“Meet the newest addition to our giraffe herd – a little leggy boy born on April 1 to proud parents Katie and Tebogo,” the zoo posted on social media. “This adorable guy weighs around 138 lbs and stands about 5.5 tall. Both mom and baby are doing well and are enjoying some private bonding time behind the scenes for now.”
The zoo says they will share additional information about when visitors will be able to see the new, as-yet-unnamed giraffe at a later time.
