“We have 46 courses from around the world,” Richard LeMieux, general manager of X-Golf in Frisco, said.
X-Golf, with a second North Texas location in Rockwall, is an indoor golf simulator that allows guests to play renowned courses like Pebble Beach, Augusta or Saint Andrews.
“It’s the best simulator on earth,” LeMieux said.
Lemieux said lasers, infrared, and high-speed cameras make X-Golf the most realistic indoor golf in the world. The technology allows a golfer’s swing to be nearly 100 percent as accurate as it would be on a real golf course.
However, X-Golf isn’t just for avid golfers.
Aside from golfing a full round, there are all sorts of challenges and games to play. With a bar and full kitchen, LeMieux said all the options make it perfect for birthday parties or corporate outings.
“You could come in in high-heeled shoes or cowboy boots,” LeMieux said. “Really, it’s for everyone.”
Patrons don’t have to know golf or even like golf, but anyone who wants to improve can schedule lessons, which, unlike outdoor golf, will never be canceled, no matter if it’s raining, snowing or hot.
