DALLAS — Looking for the perfect holiday outfit?
It may not be pretty, but the area’s latest pop-up shop has quite the selection.
Now through Christmas Eve, the most gorgeously hideous sweaters on earth are available at the Ugly Christmas Sweater pop-up shop in Dallas.
“We have a pretty unique selection,” said Jeremy Turner, the shop’s owner.
Turner started selling ugly Christmas sweaters more than a decade ago before calling it quits in 2019. However, the sweaters were so popular and Turner had taken a long enough break, he decided to bring them back for the first time in four years. He says this time they’re uglier than ever.
“It definitely stands out in a room,” Turner said.
This year’s pop-up shop is located inside Punch Bowl Social in Deep Ellum. Anytime Punch Bowl is open, the pop-up shop is open.
Turner says there may be no better way to celebrate the season.
“You’re getting to spread cheer everywhere you go with what you’re wearing,” he said.
That’s why Turner and Punch Bowl are hosting an ugly Christmas sweater party on December 6. Guests are encouraged to show up in their ugly sweaters to enjoy drinks, food and play free games.
“Come on in and come get ugly,” Turner said.
