DALLAS — It’s what’s inside that counts.
And what’s inside are cookies.
“It’s not just a cookie,” said Tabitha Zook, manager of Dirty Dough in Plano. “It’s a cookie stuffed with fillings.”
That’s why Dirty Dough believes it’s what inside that counts. It’s a gourmet stuffed cookie shop that isn’t just new to North Texas. It’s pretty new, period.
“It started out in Arizona in a college dorm room,” Zook said.
From that Arizona dorm room, Dirty Dough was franchised and its cookies have been so popular, locations are popping up all over the country. Currently, North Texas has two, one in Plano and Allen.
Three more are opening soon in Frisco, Fort Worth and Arlington.
Dirty Dough stuffs its cookies with just about anything: cookie dough, fudge, icing, jelly and more.
“We’re in touch with our fillings,” Zook said, quoting one of the franchise’s signature catchphrases.
At each store there are classics that are always on the menu and specials that are always changing.
“Every Friday we’ll have something new and different for people to try,” Zook said.
