Where in North Texas can you visit a luxurious library, a New York City rooftop and a ski lodge? It’s all in one place called the Puttery.
It’s located at The Grandscape in The Colony and as the name suggests, it offers putt-putt golf. Of course, there are many places that offer putt-putt.
“But none quite like this,” said Hana Khouri, CEO of Drive Shack, the parent company for the Puttery.
Khouri says if you think you’ve seen putt-putt, you haven’t seen this.
“It really transports them into a different world,” she said.
Actually, four different worlds, or courses.
Guests can take a swing on a city rooftop, in a ski lodge, a library or a course called “Illusion,” that appears like a modern day funhouse.
Aside from the uniquely different course designs, one thing that sets the Puttery apart is technology. Guests won’t have to fumble with scorecards and pencils. Each hole features a touch screen where they can input their scores.
That frees up hands so they can hold one of the Puttery’s gourmet meals or specialty drinks. The venue isn’t in a rush to get people out the door, either. There’s plenty of lounge and bar space to relax before or after a round of golf.
Khouri says whether guests are enjoying four courses from the kitchen or four courses on the greens, they’re bound to walk away a winner.
“They’re gonna have such a good time that they’re gonna walk out wanting to come back again,” she said.
The Puttery opens its doors for the first time today at noon. Additional hours and information can be found at www.puttery.com.
