DENTON, Texas — Anyone looking to slide to the left, slide to the right or crisscross, doesn’t need to Cha Cha Slide. They just need to head to Slick City Action Park in Denton.
“Slick City is essentially a waterless slide park,” said Braden Lequieu, assistant manager at Slick City.
Lequieu says Slick City has eight unique slides; slides that turn, twist, and toss.
To make them so thrilling, Lequieu says they’re engineered with special paint and finished with the company’s “slick sauce.”
“It just makes it go extremely fast and it’s extremely fun and adrenaline-pumping,” Lequieu said.
That’s why everyone of all ages, not just kids, will enjoy it. Sometimes, the park will even have special events like adults-only nights.
“The adults get to bring out their inner kid when they come to one of these parks,” Lequieu said.
Slides may be the main attraction but they’re not the only one. There’s a play space for toddlers, an arcade, and air courts for basketball, dodgeball and more.
Lequieu says there’s nothing else like it in North Texas.
“It’s a feeling you can’t get anywhere else in my opinion,” he said.
