DALLAS — Music lovers in North Texas have been kept in the dark. But don’t worry, there are candles for that!
“People love the candles, what can I say,” said Dank Korenevsky.
Korenevsky is the team lead for Candlelight Concerts, a series of -- you guessed it -- candlelight concerts in Dallas.
Each concert features a different genre: from classical to Metallica, Bach to the Beatles. The concerts are held at iconic venues in the city, places like the Frontiers of Flight Museum or the Filter Building at White Rock Lake.
There will be a candlelight concert pretty much every week through the end of the year.
“It really brings about a more tranquil, relaxed environment,” Korenevsky said.
The concerts have been so de-light-ful, in September, shows have been added in Fort Worth.
“We see a lot of people coming back,” Korenevsky said. “That’s another reason we have all these different types of performances.”
After attending a concert like this, no other show can hold a candle 🕯️
