DALLAS — It's Labor Day Weekend and that means many of us are off work!
If you're pulling a stay-cation this year, there's still plenty of events going on across North Texas to keep you entertained.
Friday Aug. 30
For the seventh year, The Black Academy of Arts and Letters is putting on Riverfront Jazz Festival at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. This year, the three-day event is headlined by Ceelo Green, Ginuwine and Cassandra Wilson. It's a holiday weekend, after all, so unwind with some jazz, soul and R&B.

Saturday Aug. 31
It wouldn't be Labor Day Weekend without a white party! The Dallas Mimosa Walk is inviting people to come out in all-white attire, drink mimosas and support local businesses. The walk goes through Dallas' Deep Ellum neighborhood, and 15 local businesses are participating.
Mimosas will be complimentary with the purchase of a ticket. To end the afternoon, Goodsurf will host a pool party, so be sure to bring your swimsuit and a towel.

Sunday Sept. 1
If you want to skip grilling this Labor Day Weekend, you could always get some of the best eats from across Texas at Texas Food Fest. This event features over 30 different food vendors from Dallas, Austin, Houston and other Texas cities with everything from burgers to tacos to turkey legs.
If you're vegan or keto, there are options for that too! And it's not all food. Texas Food Fest will also have small business vendors so you can support local.
