DALLAS — Another week ends, another weekend begins.
Except, as we all know, this one's pretty special.
It is, after all, Christmas!
If you're willing to bear the cold and are looking for some Christmas-related things to do these next few days, we've got the hookup on a whole bevy of traditional holiday-related events for you to peruse right here.
If you're looking for some more nontraditional events going on this weekend -- with many of them still holiday-related granted -- well, keep on scrolling, friend.
Whether you're headed out with or without the fam, you'll find no judgment here!
Friday (December 23)
For the 44th year in a row, tuba players from across the land will brave the cold and head to Thanks-Giving Square in Downtown Dallas in the days leading up to Christmas to spread some holiday cheer by belting out some of the season's most popular songs. If you're willing to face the arctic blast, this event promises to be a real treat. It's free to attend as a listener, but if you wanna bring along your tuba and join in on the fun yourself, it will cost you $10 for the sheet music. Downbeat is at noon!

Saturday (December 24)
Every Christmas Eve, in cities all across the globe, Jewish singles gather at their own local version of this long-running annual meetup. For some, it's like a Hebrew school or summer camp reunion. For others, it's a way to get your nagging mother off your case about when you'll finally settle down. For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, it's kind of like that old 'Christmastime For The Jews' sketch from Saturday Night Live. There'll be a DJ, a dancefloor, photo booths and more. Jewish singles aged 21 to 45 are welcome with a $20 cover charge.

Lakers stars LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook are all hobbled with injuries these days, but no matter: The real star of this Christmas Day game is an all-time Maverick great -- and I'm not talking Luka Doncic, either! Out on Victory Plaza before the game, the Mavericks will be unveiling their long-anticipating Dirk Nowitzki statue. Will the final version get the public going as much as the last draft we all saw did? We'll find out for sure shortly before this game's 1:30 p.m. tipoff.
