Fans camp out at Dallas venue as excitement builds ahead of Sabrina Carpenter's concert

Fans were armed with bags full of snacks, energy drinks and makeup to complete their outfits.

DALLAS — Sabrina Carpenter fans certainly have plenty of patience, with the first people arriving at the American Airlines Center more than 10 hours before the sold-out concert gets underway.

Gates to enter the arena didn’t open until 5:30 p.m., but that didn’t stop fans from lining up as early as 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Fans were armed with bags full of snacks, energy drinks, makeup to complete their outfits, lawn chairs, sweaters, pillows and blankets.

British pop singer Griff will open for Carpenter during her Dallas performance.

The “Short n’ Sweet" tour follows the release of Carpenter’s sixth studio album “Short n’ Sweet" on Aug. 23. The most recent single from the album, “Please Please Please,” included a music video starring BAFTA award-winning actor Barry Keoghan, also Carpenter's current beau.
