ROWLETT, Texas — Rowlett’s popular Wet Zone water park won’t open this summer because of “maintenance and repair requirements,” according to the city.
“Although the Rowlett City Council has allocated funding to immediately begin the process, these projects until well after summer ends,” a statement on the city’s website says. “We appreciate your patience and understanding as we implement essential improvements for a safe, enhanced Wet Zone experience in 2025!”
The water park in the 5300 block of Main Street in Rowlett features slides, a lap pool, kiddie playground, cabanas, a volleyball court, and more.
