Post Malone announces upcoming country music tour. Texas didn't make the list.

As Post Malone embarks on a new country career, his newly announced tour is skipping some major cities in the South and the West Coast.

DALLAS โ€” Rapper-turned-country artist Post Malone announced his first country-focused tour Tuesday, but the dates he released were missing his home state of Texas.

The Grapevine native will stop in 20 cities for his F-1 Trillion Tour in support of his latest album of the same name.

Fans decried the decision in the comments of his Instagram post announcing the tour. Instagram user miacsalinas said "THERES NO WAY YOU SKIPPED TEXAS," under Posty's post, the disappointment was palpable in the uppercase letters.

On X, users pointed out the irony of announcing an all-country tour without any dates in Texas.

Several other major tour destinations were also missing from the tour announcement, including Florida, California and Chicago. Some fans speculated that more dates could be on the way.

There might be some hope for Post Malone's Texan fans. On the singer's official website, visitors are prompted to sign up for notifications so they will be the first to know "when new events are announced in your area."

In the meantime, Texans are expressing their disappointment online.

The possible omission is especially confusing considering Post Malone is not particularly shy about his Texas pride, regularly sporting Cowboys merch and wearing Dallas-branded merch while watching the 2024 Super Bowl. He even went so far as to partner with the Dallas Cowboys to open a themed Raising Cane's store in DFW.

In fact, he wore two different Cowboys jerseys in his latest music video featuring Blake Shelton.

It doesn't get much more Texas than that, which is why his fans are hoping more tour dates drop soon.
