DALLAS — Jack White, singer, songwriter and guitarist, will perform a show at Trees in Dallas Wednesday, Nov. 13.

White, 49, was the guitarist and lead singer of the rock duo the White Stripes and has since released six solo albums. The Wednesday show, which White announced on his Instagram account Monday, is in support of his latest album, "No Name." White's entire tour, which began this summer, is marked by last-minute tour date announcements at smaller venues across the U.S., matching the surprise nature of the album's release.

"We won’t really be announcing dates in advance so much, we will mostly be playing at small clubs, backyard fetes, and a few festivals here and there to help pay for expenses," White wrote of the tour on Instagram. "Shows will be announced as close to the show date as possible, some shows we won’t even decide to do until that morning. I also want to walk through orchard fields and grab apples off of trees at will and fill my belly full of that fruit if the desire strikes me. I’m looking for that cool breeze you know?"

White will be in Deep Ellum, not an Orchard, on Wednesday before playing other Texas shows in Austin and San Antonio Thursday and Friday. If you want to get tickets you'll have to be quick, Trees has a capacity of 600 people.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Nov. 11 at noon for vault members and 1 p.m. for general sale.
