FORT WORTH, Texas — Barry Manilow – a Grammy award, Emmy award and Tony award-winner – is coming to Fort Worth this fall.
Manilow announced Tuesday he'll be performing at Dickies Arena for his Last Fort Worth Concert on Aug. 21.
Manilow's career is made up of virtually every facet of music, including performing, composing, arranging and producing. Having sold more than 85 million albums worldwide, Barry Manilow is one of the world's all-time bestselling recording artists. He's had 51 top-40 singles, including 12 No. 1s and 27 top-10 hits, and is ranked the No. 1 Adult Contemporary Artist of all-time, according to Billboard and R&R magazines.
“It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for all the love and support over the years,” Manilow said.
The Fort Worth concert is one of five Texas shows. He'll also be performing in San Antonio (Aug. 15), Sugar Land (Aug. 16), Austin (Aug. 19) and Corpus Christi (Aug. 20).
Manilow is a 2002 Songwriters Hall of Fame Inductee and is only an Oscar away from being part of the exclusive list of EGOT winners, though he has been nominated for an Oscar before.
