DALLAS — School's out for summer, and while the many teachers of North Texas may still be working hard behind the scenes for next year or during summer school, everyone needs a break every once in a while.

And this year, Alamo Drafthouse is continuing its tradition of honoring teachers in the summertime.

The Texas-based theater chain has been offering free Teacher Appreciation Wednesday showings to all North Texas teachers at all of its North Texas locations for the month of June. The deal is simple: Show your school ID proving you're a teacher, and get a free movie ticket for any showing before 5 p.m. on a Wednesday, as long as the movie is at a Dallas/Fort Worth-area Drafthouse.

That means the last Wednesday to pick up on this deal is next Wednesday, June 26. The Drafthouse has extended the program through August in the past, however, so who knows.
