FORT WORTH, Texas — Get ready to celebrate the Lone Star State!
Billy Bob’s Texas is hosting its 3rd annual Texas Independence Jam on Wednesday, March 20.
Texas Independence Day is on March 2, celebrating when the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed in 1836 declaring independence from Mexico. From that day, the Republic of Texas was born.
This year’s event will bring Country music fans a star-studded lineup, featuring

Tickets to New Country 96.3 and 99.5 The Wolf’s Texas Independence Jam will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12. The radio stations say listeners will have multiple opportunities to win tickets through on-air contesting.
"Once again, we’ve assembled an outstanding lineup of Country stars to support Cook Children’s Medical Center. To see them in this unique style in a historic venue like Billy Bob’s is truly what makes this show so special each year," said Program Director Mike Preston.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will go directly to Cook Children’s.
