GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Comedian Katt Williams added a second show due to popular demand for his tour that's coming to North Texas this spring.
Williams is set to perform March 7 and March 8 at the Texas CU Trust Theatre in Grand Prairie, the venue announced Tuesday. The second added show comes due to popular demand, the venue said in its post.
The shows also come after his appearance on Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" podcast has gone viral, garnering 38 million views since it was published on Jan. 3. In the Club Shay Shay episode, Williams takes shots at fellow comedians like Rickey Smiley, Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey and Kevin Hart.
Williams says he was homeless after moving out at 13 years old and made numerous other viral allegations about life in Hollywood. Williams claimed that in his first movie role, Friday After Next, he appealed to the cast and writers and got a rape scene removed from the script. Ice Cube responded to those claims, saying there was never a rape scene in the script.
Williams also said rapper and actor Ludacris joined the Illuminati to secure his Fast & Furious deals. Ludacris responded to Williams by dropping a freestyle rap.
And that doesn't even scratch the surface of the topics talked about in the unfiltered rollercoaster spanning two hours and 46 minutes. You can watch his appearance on Club Shay Shay below:
The Dark Matter Tour shows start at 8 p.m. on March 7 and March 8. Doors open at 7 p.m. Ticket information for his show can be found online here. Prices range from $75 to $315.
