DALLAS — From what the WFAA weather team has been saying, we're starting off March with a wild ride. We started the week in the 90s, dropped to the 40s and 50s, and we'll be back to the 80s this weekend.
It's practically a rollercoaster, but who says we can't have some fun with it?
Here's a look at what's happening this weekend in North Texas.
Friday, March 1
Whether you're a general DWTS fan or you tune in just to judge celebs, you'll want to head to Trust Theatre Friday night.
You won't see any celebs on the dance floor, but you could see some of your favorite DWTS dancers bring the ballroom to life. With dance routines in every style and non-stop entertainment, it's sure to be an unforgettable night.
The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets start about $24 as of Wednesday afternoon.

Saturday will mark 188 years since Texas formally declared its independence from Mexico.

Sunday, March 3
🎵 "Take your pup to the ice game .... Take your pup to the rink..."
Turn your dog into a hockey fan by bringing them to the Allen Americans' Pucks N Paws game against the Wichita Thunder.
Your ticket will cost $25 and your best friend's ticket will be $10. Five dollars from each dog ticket will go to the Collin County Animal Shelter.
Each dog has to come with their own leashes and their own human. Water bowls and waste bags will be provided at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center.
