Shakira announces new world tour dates, including a concert at Globe Life Field

Latin Grammy Award-winning singer postponed the start date of her North American tour due to a high demand for tickets.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Demand was so high for the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour that Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira had to reschedule the North American leg.

After initially intending to bring her shows to arenas, the "She Wolf" singer and Live Nation recently announced that they would be upgrading the tour to stadium venues.

The Latin Grammy Award-winning artist was slated to perform at the American Airlines Center on Nov. 17, but North Texas fans will have to wait a bit longer to see her live.

Shakira is set to perform on Wednesday, June 11 at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Those with tickets to the current shows will have access to the new dates.
