Chef Tiffany Derry's inaugural Shef Food and Wine Festival is coming to North Texas in November and will feature award-winning chefs.

The event is set for Nov. 8 to Nov. 10 in Grand Prairie. Derry, a James Beard Award nominated chef, will co-host the event.

"I'm thrilled to bring some of the most talented chefs together for a weekend to not only share great food and memories, but also create impact for our industry," Derry said. "It's going to be a special and delicious weekend — one that we hope will become a tradition for years to come."

The festival will begin with an intimate four-course dinner, hosted by Derry and T2D Concepts co-founder Tom Foley. The days following will include a pickleball tournament, a whiskey and wine tasting, a panel discussion and live entertainment including the debut of celebrity chef Carla Hall’s one-woman show.

Except appearances from other restauranteurs, TV personalities and celebrity chefs.

Derry is a celebrity chef in her own right and local restauranteur. She is founder of Farmers Branch-based Tiffany Derry Concepts and co-founder of T2D Concepts, which is the hospitality group behind Roots Chicken Shak and Roots Southern Table. She was recently honored as a 2024 Women in Business Award winner by Dallas Business Journal.

The festival is meant to showcase the mission of T2D Concepts, which aims to drive social change and emphasizes the "she" in chef. T2D has partnered with the Texas Restaurant Foundation to advance Recipe, a learning platform driving growth opportunities for hospitality professionals.

Shef Food and Wine Festival will take place at EpicCentral, the new entertainment complex and future home to the second location of Radici Wood Fired Grill, an Italian restaurant operated by T2D.
