DALLAS — Are you mourning the end of the Olympics before it’s even over? Try focusing on the United States’ leading medal count instead.
If that’s not enough to keep you preoccupied, there’s plenty of events in DFW to keep you entertained.

The festival’s highlight is “The Boy and the Heron,” which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film.
All film screenings will be hosted in the Modern’s auditorium. Each one will be introduced by Dr. Marc Hairston, a research scientist at the University of Texas at Dallas. It is a film festival at a museum, after all, you can’t walk in without learning something.
